Responsibilities
Mike is a Principal of the firm and is considered "the dean" with over a half century of hands-on industry knowledge, Mike is a sought-after expert witness and leads the firm’s Legal Support practice. He writes expert opinion reports and testifies at depositions and trials on the responsibilities of agents and brokers and insurance industry practices including the intent of insurance policy language. Throughout his career, across all industries, Mike helps clients calculate appropriate insurance limits based on their needs and risk appetite. He also negotiates policy language to ensure that it addresses his client's unique risk exposures. In recent years, a considerable amount of Mike's time has been dedicated to international schools where he assists with managing both insurable and un-insurable risks.
Experience
Mike has over 60 years’ experience in the industry, 53 of which have been with the firm. Prior to his joining the firm, he was a licensed insurance broker and account executive with a Boston-based insurance agency.
