Responsibilities

Laura is a senior consultant at ARMC with clients nationwide. Drawing on her background in engineering and underwriting for a High Protection Risk (HPR) insurer, she is the firm expert on the pros and cons of mitigating risk through insurance in the HPR marketplace.  She has been the outsourced risk manager for the leading affordable housing developers and manager in the country and has experience working with government agencies. She has been an expert witness on flood, sprinklers and combustible insulation risk and insurance.

Experience

 

Laura has over 40 years in the industry. Laura joined ARMC in 2002. Among her many real estate clients she has the day to day consultant for a national real estate developer and manager dealing with risk assessment, program evaluation, insurance procurement, lender compliance and evaluation of onsite vendor services including contractors, social service agencies, security firms, etc.

Prior to joining ARMC, Laura was an Account Underwriting Executive and an Account Engineer for FM Global, AIG and Industrial Risk Insurers (IRI) where she developed extensive expertise in property underwriting and loss control from 1979 until 2002.
