Kenneth W. Davidson
Responsibilities
Ken is responsible for designing the firm’s strategy to increase revenues across various industry verticals utilizing his considerable experience in the risk management field and deep personal relationships with various professional service firms and senior management individuals.
He is involved with the response, review and quality control of all major engagement proposals that ARMC submits to interested parties for consideration. In addition, to managing various client and prospective client relationships, he has established a number of advisory boards, with various centers of influence, to continually review and validate the specific strategy for certain industry practice groups.
Experience
Ken has over 35 years in the industry, 8 of which have been with the firm. Prior to joining Albert Risk, Ken was the Director of Business Development for Arthur Andersen in New England and worked directly with the tax, audit and business consulting partners in Boston and Hartford. He was elected national partner in 2001. Ken was also Principal/Senior Vice President with the global insurance brokerage firm Johnson & Higgins, where he served as branch manager for the firm’s offices in Portland, ME, Baltimore, MD and Boston, MA. During his tenure at J&H he worked extensively with Lloyds of London, especially in the marine market, and today still maintains active relationships with senior brokers and underwriters in London. His experience at these firms has involved managing the senior client relationships with corporations such as General Dynamics, Bath Iron Works, USFG, Black & Decker, Ocean Spray, Maine Medical Center, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, Massport and Brown University.
