Risk Analyst I

Responsibilities  
  • Assist in the delivery of risk management and insurance consulting services to a diverse client base.
  • Activities include insurance policy and contract review and negotiation, exposure and claims analysis, evaluation and selection of appropriate risk treatment methods.  
  • Continued education including CPCU and ARM professional designations is required and supported by the firm.
  • Entry-level position. Potential for rapid career advancement to Staff Consultant as knowledge is gained and demonstrated through on-the-job training.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business related field.
  • Ability and willingness to proactively embrace new challenges and learning experiences with creativity and enthusiasm.
  • Self-starter. Ability to independently and efficiently manage one’s time, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibits professionalism in all aspects of internal and external interactions.
  • Strong computer skills, including research and data analysis.
  • Some experience in the insurance industry a plus, preferably in multi-line underwriting or brokerage.
  • Completion or progress toward CPCU or ARM designations a plus.
